I'm sorry but as I wrote above, this plugin is only intended to work as a widget. What would you expect your tdlc_birthday() function to do? Draw the whole widget? WordPress handles most of that, not the plugin. Why don't you simply use a theme with a footer sidebar and put the plugin in it?
Also in the upcoming v0.4 the plugin will allow multiple widget instances.

Hey DDart,

I’m sorry but as I wrote above, this plugin is only intended to work as a widget. I mean if there is a short code you can use to call TDLC Birthdays
Example <code></code>
Or call the plugin on another page.
I put it in the bottom of my forum, so I wonder if there is a way to appear there.
Thanks in advance :)
Sorry for my bad English.

I do not mean just that. But this is useful Thanks.<br

not quite sure I understand your comment but I guess you want to use the PHP functions of the plugin in another contextex (say, the theme pages). I don't plan to write specific functions for this, but there is a way to use the existing plugin to compute the age of a given user. I put the snippet in an article here: http://www.t0m.fr/?p=1967
Hope this helps :)

Hi DDart,

not quite sure I understand your comment but I guess you want to use the PHP functions of the plugin in another contextex (say, the theme pages). Thanks for your feedback :-)
Regarding the date format, I guess you mean in the widget. You'll be able to set it properly (ie DD/MM) when translating the English strings. If you mean the date box in the Profile page, I'm afraid it's managed by Buddypress itself. Maybe a translation could fix it as well.
Hope this helps!
Tom
PS : you're more than welcome to send me your Finnish translation, I'd be glad to include it in the next release of the plugin :-)

Hi Petri,

Thanks for your feedback <img
